Privacy Policy
Overview
Lyracle (“the App”) is a lyric-writing tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
Information that stays on your device
Your tracks, lyrics, rhyme searches, writing preferences, and any beats you upload are stored locally on your device. Rhyme generation happens on your device. We do not require an account, and we do not send your lyrics, rhyme queries, or full song drafts to our servers.
Information you choose to send
If you use Leave Feedback, we send the text you write, along with the app version, build number, and platform, so we can triage reports. We do not attach an account or persistent device identifier. In TestFlight and development builds only, optional tools may also let you submit dictionary suggestions or review rhyme candidates. Those submissions include the same app and build metadata.
How we use information
We use information you choose to send to respond to feedback, fix bugs, refine rhyme quality, and fill dictionary gaps. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-party services
We use Google Firebase Cloud Firestore to store and process the information described above. Firebase is operated by Google and is subject to Google’s privacy practices. The App does not send your writing to generative AI providers.
Data retention and deletion
Feedback and optional submissions we receive may be retained as long as needed to improve the App and respond to reports. Because Lyracle has no accounts, there is no in-app account deletion flow. To request deletion of information you submitted, email jamesalexanderraine@gmail.com and include enough detail for us to locate the relevant records (for example, approximate dates and the text you submitted).
Children’s privacy
Lyracle is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Your choices
You can decline to submit feedback or use the optional submission tools available in TestFlight and development builds.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
